Clémentine Portier-Kaltenbach 13:34, December 06, 2021

In the Middle Ages, women were considered unfit for war.

Their body is judged to be too weak, their reasoning limited and their character, far too fearful.

The only weapons they touch are the one they give to the Knights before they go on Crusades.

However, when the Hundred Years War broke out (1337-1453) and the men left for the battlefield, some women did not hesitate to don helmets and chainmail to defend their stronghold and overthrow the world order.

Clémentine Portier-Kaltenbach dons her armor and tells the story of valiant knights such as Isabel de Conches (1070-1100), Joan of Flanders (1295-1374) or Joan of Arc (around 1412-1431).
